12:34AM - Feed for an online video show on DIY tech for girls

I saw this show listed on BoingBoing and realized I wanted to keep up. And now you can too, at iheartswitch.

5:51AM - Feeds from Big Sky Country

Here are some Montana (and Wyoming) feeds I created recently and promoted elsewhere:

News:
billingsgazette: Billings Gazette (my hometown)
montana_news: from Topix.net; includes other MT newspapers
wyoming_news: Casper Star-Review

Flickr photo feeds:
flickr_montana: photos tagged "montana"
flickr_glacier: "glacier park"
flickr_ylostone: "yellowstone park"

Another feed of general interest to anyone in the Rocky Mountain West is newwestnetwork: New West Network.

7:03PM - The Alpha Gate Stargate SG-1 Fanfiction Archive Feed

One of the sister sites to Stargate SG-1 Solutions (sg1_solutions), The Alpha Gate has recently revamped their website.

The Alpha Gate is a fanfiction archive, accepting all varieties of fanfic, but having a majority of Gen and Slash fics. They are limited to Stargate SG-1 fanfic (no Stargate Atlantis) and are a Season 6-free archive.

Aside from the dramatic appearance change (users have three choices of banners to view), Alpha Gate is now a self-archive for the authors, with major upgrades to the fiction database. A lot of hard work by numerous volunteers has converted all 2,500+ fics from the old archive into the new one. The user interface is improved, so hopefully, it should be much easier for fans to search and find their favorite styles, genres and/or authors. Author feedback is a simple click at the end of the story.

They also now have an RSS feed, which you can find here: alpha_gate_fic

The Alpha Gate invites all LJ SG-1 fanfic authors to post their stories to the archive and would love to host your stories for all of fandom to discover and enjoy. Membership in its yahoo group is required for submission of fics, which you can join here, or by following links on the website. Reading fics and offering feedback is open to anyone.
