Many of you already subscribe to the homebrew homestar_rss feed. This is automatically generated by a guy crawling the HR website, and tends to point to new material on homestarrunner.com. However, since it is just a screen-scraping tool for the website, it often posts late or redundant updates. [As of today, it doesn't even work: Last checked: 2005-06-23 17:23:36 (Parse error). Error Message: RSS parser error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 42, column 37, byte 1757]
As you may or may not be aware, there is a Wiki set up for discussing hidden secrets and interesting facts about the HR website; that'd be hrwiki.org. As a Wiki, they have an RSS feed representing all updates to the entire wiki. This is very spammy, and tends to be way more information than I care about.
With that said, they do have one very nice page representing all of the latest updates to the HR website, as they are discovered by human beings... that'd be the H*R.com updates page. It's very nice, and since it's monitored by human beings it's more likely to be reliable and correct.
There is no official RSS feed for *just* the H*R.com updates page, so I created a homebrew RSS feed of my very own, hrwiki.xml, which is the basis for hrwikiupdates. I believe it will tend to be more accurate and up-to-date than homestar_rss and will therefore be a bit more useful. (I remain subscribed to both.)
